GREENWOOD, Ind. - Mark Addison of the Augustana Vikings men's water polo team has been named the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America NCAA Division III Men's At-Large Team Member of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.
Addison, a native of Eads, Tenn., graduated with a 3.99 GPA while triple majoring in accounting, business analytics, and business intelligence. He earned First Team Academic All-America honors and was named Team Member of the Year after helping lead the Vikings to a third-place finish at the USA Water Polo Division III National Championships.
During the 2026 season, Addison totaled 53 goals, 25 assists, and 27 steals in 27 games, earning MPSF East All-Conference honors for the fourth consecutive year. Earlier this year, he also received CSC Academic All-America recognition as a member of the swimming and diving team.
This marks Addison's second CSC Academic All-America honor, becoming Augustana's 189th all-time Academic All-American selection. He is also just the second men's water polo student-athlete in program history to earn the distinction, joining his brother, Joseph Addison, who received the honor in 2024.
