MOLINE, IL - The Quad City Storm announced today that the team has completed a trade with the Macon Mayhem, acquiring the playing rights of forward Jake Goldowski in exchange for the playing rights of forward Savva Smirnov.
Goldowski has appeared in 188 career SPHL games, recording 39 goals and 66 assists throughout his career. The 6-foot-3 centerman appeared in all 58 games in Macon last season, scoring 10 goals and adding 11 assists to help lead the Mayhem to their first playoff appearance since the 2020 season. Goldowski has served as the Mayhem’s alternate captain since the 2024-25 season.
In addition to his SPHL experience, the native of Thornhurst, Pennsylvania, has suited up in 26 ECHL games, scoring 4 goals and 3 assists.
