ERIE, Pa. (AP) -- Arden Pabst homered and had three hits as the Altoona Curve beat the Erie SeaWolves 6-2 on Wednesday. With the victory, the Curve swept the three-game series.
Erie cut the deficit to 2-1 in the third after Chace Numata scored on a groundout.
Altoona answered in the next half-inning, scoring two runs to extend its lead. Bligh Madris and Brett Pope both drove in runs en route to the three-run lead.
The Curve later tacked on two runs in the sixth when Hunter Owen scored on a groundout and Pabst hit a solo home run to secure the victory.
Blake Cederlind (1-0) got the win in relief while Erie starter Alex Faedo (3-4) took the loss in the Eastern League game.
For the SeaWolves, Josh Lester homered and singled twice.
