Prep boys' basketball

Mercer County game at Riverdale moved to Thursday: Riverdale's home boys' basketball game against Mercer County has been moved to Thursday. It was originally scheduled for Friday, but had to be moved because of a scheduling conflict.

Prep girls' basketball

Sherrard 43, Erie 42: The Tigers needed every one of Callie Minch's game-high 21 points to pull off the home Three Rivers Conference victory. Minch shot 8-of-21 from the field, including 4-of-15 from 3. Lauren McMillin shot 4-of-4 with nine points for Sherrard, and Carley Whitsell added 10 points. Riley Redell and Whitney Bramm each scored 12 for Erie. 

Riverdale 54, Morrison 36: Sidney Garrett had a team-high 13 points and 13 rebounds for Riverdale, which had all 12 of its girls who entered the game record points as th e8-1 Rams moved to 3-0 in TRAC play. Morrison's Peyton Tegeler had 19 points and 12 rebounds. 

Sterling Newman 47, Prophetstown 36: Courtney Pierceson led the Lady Prophets with 12 points, and Dena Johnson added 10 in a game which P'town trailed 26-15 at the half.

Fulton 39, Rockridge 32: Rockridge led the Lady Steamers 10-5 after the opening quarter and 18-16 at the half, but couldn't hang on in Three Rivers Conference contest. The Rockets clung to a 24-23 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but Fulton's Emily Schipper scored six of her team-high 12 points as part of a 16-8 final frame for the Steamers. Jessica Stice (14 points) and Fran Letts (13 points) accounted for nearly all the offensive production for Rockridge.

Wethersfield 78, ROWVA 27: Wethersfield's Brittney Litton scored 25 points in the first three quarters to lead all scorers. Lexi Nichol (14 points), Tori Rashid (12 points on four treys), and Taylor Lay (11 points) were also in double figure scoring for the Lady Geese. 

Mallards

Graves reassigned: Defenseman Jacob Graves was reassigned Monday from the Quad City Mallards to the AHL's Cleveland Monsters by the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets.

Graves, 22, played in 13 games with the Mallards this season, posting one assist and an even rating.

Graves' reassignment comes two days after fellow defenseman Dmitry Osipov was recalled from loan to the Mallards by the Chicago Wolves. Osipov didn't record a point in 13 games and had a minus-10 rating.
