“Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.” -- The Wizard of Oz

When Dorothy and her friends discovered that the wonderful wizard was a fraud, the supposed wizard dropped his charade. Our liberal/progressive friends, however, continue to pretend that their lies about the president have substance, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

While high government officials from the previous administration gave all manner of proof that they flagrantly abused their power, they are attempting to misdirect.

Adolph Hitler coined the concept of “the big lie,” and that appears to be the impetus behind their baseless insistence. Their persistent search for a crime cannot end because they have to be right! If they admit to their lie, the focus will shift to their own (well-documented) wrongdoings.

Liberals endlessly repeat that the president and his administration have lied, but no specific prevarications are given. Their presumption, it appears, is that the gullible American public will, eventually, take them at their word -- without proof. In their panic, it appears, they are hoping that Hitler’s “big lie” idea will have traction, and the president will be shamed without substance.

Polls show that the president’s popularity has not been diminished, in spite of herculean efforts by liberal politicians, liberal talking heads, and Hollywood to perpetuate this fraud.

The American people just may not be deceived by this fabrication. I sincerely hope that the U.S. government will soon drop this obsession and get down to advancing our great nation! Wouldn’t that be nice?

Don Goembel,
