Kosovo holds election amid calls for resuming Serbia talks

Ramush Haradinaj, the candidate for Prime Minister from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), addresses his supporters during an electoral rally in capital Pristina, Kosovo on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. Kosovo holds an early general election on Sunday after outgoing prime minister resigned following a request from a Hague-based court to be questioned on crimes against ethnic Serbs during and after the country's 1998-99 war. In Kosovo's seventh post-war general elections some 1.9 million voters, including many immigrants, will cast ballots to elect 120 lawmakers.
