Quad city Animal Welfare Center

MILAN – The Quad City Animal Welfare Center’s new Cars 4 Critters vehicle donation program allows supporters to donate cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, boats, and RVs to help the shelter. Donated vehicles will either be sold at auction or sold for parts. Participants must have the title of the vehicle in order to donate through Cars 4 Critters.

Proceeds will assist with QCAWC’s mission of operating a shelter for homeless animals, offering a spay and neuter program, and providing humane education to the community.

QCAWC will pick up donated vehicles free of charge and will provide the necessary Department of Motor Vehicles forms. Donations may be used as tax deductions. QCAWC will provide letters for taxes.

If the vehicle is scrapped, QCAWC will provide the donor with a donation letter stating the amount the vehicle was scrapped for, which is tax deductible.

For more information or to arrange to donate a vehicle, please contact QCAWC Executive Director Patti McRae at (309) 787-6830 ext. 13 or patti@qcawc.org.

QCAWC was founded in 1977 and is the only full-service, no-kill shelter serving the Quad Cities area.
