EAST MOLINE — Three people have been arrested following a report of gunfire early Friday morning in East Moline.
At 1:46 a.m., East Moline Police received a 911 call of a residence in the 2000 block of 9th Avenue being struck by gunfire. The residence was occupied, but no one was injured.
Police also quickly received information from a witness that, after the gunshots, a white vehicle was seen speeding away from the area south on 19th Street. A responding officer located a white vehicle leaving the area and conducted a traffic stop.
Two subjects tried to flee the vehicle on foot. One was captured by an East Moline Police officer and the other was captured by a Silvis Police officer.

Emily Ledesma,18, of East Moline was arrested and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, a Class 4 felony. Jaonte Webb, 18, of Moline was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony. A 15-year-old male juvenile from East Moline also was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm, a Class 1 felony, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, a Class 4 felony.
Ledezma and Webb are being held at the Rock Island County jail on $30,000 bond. The juvenile is being held at the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center.
During the subsequent investigation police recovered a handgun and shotgun believed to have been used in the incident. East Moline Police was assisted by Silvis Police, Moline Police and the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department.
