Eat your heart out, Clark Griswold!
The character in the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" who created an over-the-top holiday display would be envious of the scores of Quad-Citians who have decked their halls -- and trees and walls, and houses and garages -- with dozens of decorations.
We recently issued a call for readers to tell us about any Christmas decorations that shouldn't be missed, and the following addresses were submitted.
Take a drive this weekend and check some of them out!
ANDALUSIA
- 411 4th St. West: "Many nice displays in Andalusia. Ours is at 411 4th St. West in Andalusia. My husband made all the wooden decorations. He is 81 and enjoys putting up the decorations each year. Lots of lights also."
