EAST MOLINE — William L. Vyncke, 90, East Moline, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, where he was a member.

Bill was born on May 24, 1929, in East Moline, the son of Richard and Genevieve (Schulte) Vyncke. He married Ruth Ann Hunt on April 21, 1951, in East Moline. Bill retired as a Process Engineer from the former International Harvester Works, East Moline. He enjoyed woodworking and bowling. Bill held many positions and offices during his lifetime, always committed to helping humanity.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ruth Ann; children, Kris Vyncke, East Moline, Nancy Toalson, Silvis, Scott (Tana) Vyncke, Moline, and Joel (Laura) Vyncke, Silvis; grandchildren, Stephanie Covemaker, Eric Toalson, Angela Vyncke and Tim Vyncke; great-grandchildren, Jase, Adalyn and Nathan; siblings, Jim (Glenda) Vyncke, Andover, Ill., Wayne (Ruthann) Vyncke, Hampton, Marlene (Mel) Gavin, Arizona, and Luella Summers, Moline; and sister-in-law, Nancy Vyncke, Carbon Cliff.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, William L Vyncke II; and siblings, Paul Leo and Joe.
