MOLINE — David A. Miller, 64, of Moline, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at his home.
Services will be held Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m., at Christ Church of the Quad Cities, 403 – 3rd Street, Colona, Ill., with a one-hour visitation prior to the services. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family.
David was born in Moline on Dec. 1, 1954, the son of Fredrick and Norma (Black) Miller.
He worked for Wenger Trucking in Davenport; prior to that he was employed at Ingersoll-Rand Company in Kentucky. David was a member of Christ Church in Colona, enjoyed playing baseball and with his good ear for music, loved being a musician.
Survivors include his daughter, Faith (Kent Mlekush) Miller, of East Moline; his son, Andy (Kelly) Miller, of Mayfield, Ky.; his mother, Norma Miller, of Moline; his sister, Carol (Charlie) Mockmore, of Moline; his brother, Ronald (Wanda) Miller, of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a baby sister, Elizabeth.
