Al's Burgers, located in Rock Island, is set to open their second location, Al's Burgers & Breakfast, in Moline. The restaurant will be taking over the former Quad City Pizza Company building at 2724 Avenue of the Cites in Moline. They are keeping the Rock Island location open as well.
The burger joint is expanding their menu for breakfast at the Moline location. There is no opening date set yet for the new Moline restaurant. Follow Al's Burgers on Facebook for updates.

Prairie Cones ice cream has opened in Viola.
Prairie Cones ice cream parlor is now open for business in the southwest corner of Prairie Crossroads building at 1701 13th St. in Viola. The ice cream parlor has a vintage soda shop vibe and serves ice cream, shakes, malts, floats and sundaes.

Angerer Eats begins new chapter
Angerer Eats in Bettendorf has new owners. Brandon and Ashley Council will now be leading the business, but Mary Angerer will continue to be involved, supporting the team, the business posted on Facebook on Friday, June 27.Â
Customers can select from six signature meals each week. Online ordering opens at 7 a.m. on Monday, with pickup the following Monday or delivery on the following Tuesday. The meals come with specific directions and heating instructions. Orders can be placed on the website at angerereats.com.
Angerer Eats also offers a system to donate a meal to Cancer Support Community Iowa and NW Illinois at Gilda's Club or a family in need from $18.Â
