SNAP-Ed Community Worker University of Illinois Extension is hiring a SNAP-Ed Community Worker to work with local residents (youth and adult) identified by Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-ED) to provide basic nutrition, food safety, physical activity, and food budgeting education for low-income individuals. Training is provided. This position will be based in our Rock Island County Extension office located in Milan, IL. It is a 100%-time, benefits-eligible Civil Service position. The work schedule is to be determined (37.5 hours per week, 12 months per year). The minimum salary is $13.38 per hour.
