Entrants need to click on the 2005 Academy Awards® Contest button and complete all the information requested on the subsequent contest entry page. Incomplete online entries are void. Use of a profane username or the submission of false or misleading personal information by an entrant will be grounds for disqualification. Determination of information to be profane, false, or misleading is at the sole discretion of National Amusements. Collection of personally identifiable information will be in accordance with the National Amusements Online Privacy Policy as posted in the web site. (“National Amusements”), Dispatch/Argus/Leader and KMXG-FM (collectively the “Sponsors”) are not responsible for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission which may limit a user’s ability to participate in the contest or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, National Amusements reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the online portion of the contest. This Contest is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the U.S. Void where prohibited by law and outside the U.S. Winners will be selected by the Sponsors from a random drawing of all of the eligible entries received. Employees and their immediate families of National Amusements Inc., Universal City Development Partners, LP, Dispatch/Argus/Leader, KMXG-FM, any person related to this promotion and its production, or other promotional partners and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchises, or agencies are ineligible to participate in this contest.

5. One winner per household. All entrants and contest winners must be at least 21 years of age. By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and certify to the Sponsors that they are at least 21 years of age. Grand prize winner and all travel guests will each be required to complete the Sponsors Declaration and Release.

6. The 2005 National Amusements, Dispatch/Argus/Leader and KMXG-FM Academy Awards® Contest prizes are limited to: Grand Prize (1): Trip for 4 to Universal Orlando Resort (“UO”), which includes: Round-trip air transportation for four from the closest major airport served by UO’s airline partner to Orlando, FL; Ground transportation to/from the airport in Orlando, Florida and to/from the hotel to Universal Orlando and/or Islands of Adventure; accommodations at a hotel selected by UO for three nights (up to four people in a maximum of one room); 3-day studio passes for 4 people for admission to Universal Studios Florida and/or Islands of Adventure.

7. All prize fulfillment will be handled by National Amusements. This contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and winners will be solely responsible for the payment of all local, state, and federal taxes, and all non-included expenses arising from this contest.

8. Winners agree that National Amusements, Universal City Development Partners, LP, Dispatch/Argus/Leader, KMXG-FM, immediate families, directors, officers, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchises, or agencies shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance of and/or participation in prize and/or contest.

9. The prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. There are no prize and/or cash substitutions. Winner’s entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use his or her name, photograph and likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion on behalf of any of the Sponsors without compensation.

10. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final in all matters relating to this contest.

11. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned. The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, mutilated, illegible, misdirected, late, stolen, incorrect or incomplete entries.

12. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Non-compliance with these rules may result in disqualification and alternate winners may be selected.
