  • Please list the publication date you prefer.
  • Wedding information should be submitted within one year of the ceremony.
  • Please call (309) 757-4964 or (309) 757-4959 after submitting the form online to confirm your request.
  • The first 25 lines of your announcement are free. Additional lines are $3.75 each.
  • A representative of the newspaper must call you, read your announcement to you and provide an estimated cost. Wording and estimate must be approved before it is published.
  • Medium photographs (1-1/4 by 1-7/8 inches).
  • Large photographs (2-1/2 by 3-3/4 inches).
  • Medium or large color photos cost an additional $30.
  • If a photo is to be used, it must be sent to The Dispatch or submitted via email (see below). Photos sent through the postal service must be sent at the same time that this form is submitted.
  • Give full, formal names and complete addresses.
  • If parents are divorced, give city and state for each.
  • Options for information submitted differently than outlined by form, include printing information in our Keepsakes page in Sunday newspapers, or as display ads elsewhere in the paper.
