Mom's Chili

1 pound ground beef
2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) stewed tomatoes, undrained
2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) dark red kidney beans, undrained
1 can (46 ounces) tomato juice
2 celery ribs, chopped
Chili powder, to taste
Minced onions, to taste
Brown sugar, to taste

In large skillet, brown ground beef; drain. In large pot, combine ground beef, tomatoes (including liquid), kidney beans (including liquid), tomato juice, celery and chili powder, minced onions and brown sugar to taste. Bring all to a boil. Once boiling, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
