Overnight Lettuce Salad

1 head lettuce
1 small onion, diced
1 head cauliflower, sliced
1 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
2 cups mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Layer half the lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon. Do this twice. Top with mayonnaise, then sprinkle on the sugar. Sprinkle the cheese over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. You can toss just before serving, but not necessary.
