Peanut Butter Brownies

Ingredients

3 eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups unsifted flour
2-1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Chopped pecans, optional

Instructions

Combine first 6 ingredients, beating well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in chopped peanuts. Add to egg mixture, stirring only until smooth.

Spread in lightly greased 9x13x2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Do not overbake.
