Egg Popovers or Turtles

1-1/2 cups sweet milk
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Flour, as needed

Mix well the milk, eggs, baking powder and salt. Add enough flour to make a good batter. Drop by teaspoon in hot deep grease. Remove and place on paper towels when brown. Serve hot with butter and syrup. Or when cold, you can dip in powdered sugar, cinnamon or sugar.
