Vanilla Orange Cookie Truffles

1 package (15 1/2 ounces) cream-filled golden sandwich cookies
2 tablespoons grated orange peel
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese softened
16 ounces almond bark (vanilla flavored candy coating) chopped
Place cookies in food processor. Pulse until they reduce to fine crumbs.
Mix cookie crumbs and orange peel.
With a mixer beat together cookie crumbs and cream cheese until dough-like. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Freeze until firm.
Melt candy coating in microwave or in a saucepan over low heat. Dip cookie balls in coating. Return to cookie sheet. Store in refrigerator.
