Mom's Vegetable Salad

3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 can (14.5 ounces) tiny peas, drained
1 can (14.5 ounces) French style green beans, drained
1 can (15 ounces) shoe peg white corn, drained
1 small can (4 ounces) pimentos, drained and diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup green peppers, diced
1 cup sweet or green onions, diced


In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, and vegetable oil and bring to a boil. In an airtight container mix peas, beans, corn, pimentos, celery, peppers and onions. Pour in the liquid. Mix well and set in refrigerator overnight.
