This butter is wonderful on bagels, muffins, sweetbreads, toast, pancakes and waffles. Makes a wonderful gift to give.
1/2 cup blackberries, raspberries or strawberries (if using frozen berries thaw berries before using)
1/2 cup spreadable butter or margarine of your choice
1 tablespoon honey
Coarsely chop berries and drain off excess juice. Combine berries and butter or margarine and honey. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate at least overnight.
