Ranch Nut Bread

1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
2 bananas (cut up)
2 cups all purpose flour (sifted)
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup walnuts
1 egg

Put all ingredients in large mixing bowl at the same time. Mix for 3 minutes at medium speed. Bake uncovered in a greased and floured 8x8x2 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Test with toothpick in center of bread. Toothpick should be dry if thoroughly cooked.
