1 pound fresh button mushrooms
10 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 small onion chopped fine
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
Wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems. With a spoon remove some of the black gills in the mushroom. Combine bacon, mayonnaise, cheese, onion and salt in a small bowl.
Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish. Fill mushrooms with the mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes at 325 degrees uncovered. Mushrooms will be soft and cheese mixture melted. May need to remove any liquid from baking dish.
