Tangy Chipped Beef Cheese Ball

My family always is asking for this cheese ball and I have been making it for many,many years.
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 packages (1/2 ounce each) sliced dried beef, finely chopped
In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and horseradish. Mix well. Stir in Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of dried beef (reserve remaining beef for coating). Chill mixture 1 hour until firm. On plastic wrap, shape cheese mixture into ball then roll in remaining dried beef. Wrap and chill until serving time.
