1 1/2 cups rice (not minute)
2 to 3 tablespoons of margarine
1/2 to 1 pound of stew meat
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon margarine
1 pint of whole tomatoes
1/2 pint of water

Put rice and 2 tablespoons of margarine in 10” skillet and brown for several minutes. In another 8” skillet, brown the stew meat, chopped onion and 1 tablespoon of margarine. Put altogether in a 2 quart casserole dish. Add 1 pint
of whole tomatoes and ½ pint of water. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours.
