Pumpkin Pie Cake

1 can (29 ounces) pumpkin
1 can (13 ounces) evaporated milk
4 eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup margarine, melted
1 cup chopped nuts
Whipped cream if desired

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Mix well and pour into ungreased 9x13-inch cake pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over mixture. Pour melted margarine over cake mix and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Top with whipped cream if desired and serve.
