Spaghetti Salad

1 pound box spaghetti, broken into 3-4-inch pieces
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 large green pepper, coarsely chopped
2 tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1/2 to 1 pound Cheddar or Colby cheese, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
16-ounce bottle Italian dressing


Cook spaghetti; drain and cool. Combine vegetables and cheese; add cheese and sugar. Add spaghetti and dressing and toss.
