Egg Nog Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup egg nog
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 large egg yolks

Instructions

In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg until mixed well. In a large bowl cream together butter, white sugar, egg not, vanilla and egg yolks until grainy. Add dry ingredients. Mix on low but do not over mix. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet 1 inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with additional nutmeg. Bake 25 minutes at 300 degrees or until bottoms turn light brown. Transfer to cooling rack immediately. Makes 3 dozen.
