Ramen Noodle Salad

1/2 cup butter, melted
Package ramen noodles, remove seasoning packet
1 cup walnuts
3 bunches romaine lettuce, chopped or can use fresh spinach
Large bunch broccoli, chopped
5 green onions
Dressing:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Over medium heat, saute butter, ramen noodles and walnuts for about 5 minutes, until noodles are golden brown. Let drain on paper towels until cooled. Toss with lettuce, broccoli and onions.
For dressing, shake together sugar, vinegar, oil and soy sauce until well-blended. Pour dressing over salad mixture and toss well.
