Microwave Peanut Brittle

1 cup raw peanuts
1 cup sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

In a 3-quart microwave safe bowl, stir together peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Microwave 4 minutes and then stir. Microwave 4 more minutes and then add the butter and vanilla. Microwave 2 minutes and then quickly add the baking soda. Stir until light and foamy. Pour onto a greased 14x17-inch cookie sheet. Break into pieces when cool.
