Easy Breakfast Casserole

12 hash brown patties
1 pound breakfast sausage, browned and drained
2 cups milk
8 ounces Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Line bottom of 9x13-inch pan with hash brown patties. Sprinkle sausage onto hash browns. Mix eggs and milk. Pour on top of sausage. Put cheese on top of egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
Should be prepared the night before and refrigerated before baking.
