Pumpkin Dessert

Ingredients

1 can (16 ounces) pumpkin
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
4 eggs
1-1/4 cups sugar
4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans or black walnuts
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 package (18-1/2-ounce package) yellow cake mix
Whipped topping

Instructions

Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, spice and salt in large mixing bowl. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Top with nuts, then drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees 50-55 minutes. Cool completely. Serve with whipped topping.
