1-1/2 cups rice (not Minute Rice)
2-3 tablespoons margarine
1/2-1 pound of stew meat
1 pint (16 ounces) whole tomatoes
1 cup water
Put rice and margarine in pan and brown for several minutes. In another pan, brown the stew meat, chopped onion and some more margarine. Put altogether in a 2-quart casserole dish. Add 1 pint of tomatoes and 1/2 pint of water. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours.
