Peach Pie Alaska

1 package (3 ounces) peach Jello
2/3 cup boiling water
1 cup vanilla ice cream
3-1/2 cups Cool Whip
1 cup fresh peaches, diced
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell or graham cracker shell
Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted and smooth. Blend in Cool Whip and peaches. Chill, if necessary until mixture will mound.
Spoon into crust. Chill till firm.
