Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

1 box Duncan Hines lemon cake mix
1 stick margarine at room temperature
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix first layer ingredients by hand and press into bottom of greased 9x13-inch pan.
To make second layer, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in nuts and spread over first layer. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top when taken from oven. Cool and cut into small squares.
