Cranberry Nut Bars

The kids love them.

Ingredients

3 cups sugar
2-1/2 sticks margarine
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts
12 ounces fresh cranberries
Powdered sugar

Instructions

Cream sugar and margarine. Cream together eggs and vanilla; add to first mixture. Add flour until a dough forms. Stir in nuts and cranberries. Spray or butter a 10x15-inch cookie sheet. Spread mix into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with cream cheese frosting. Makes 50 bars.
