Onion Dip

I got this recipe from a good friend in Colorado who raises onions as their main crop along with potatoes. It is always fun trading recipes with friends in different parts of the U.S.

1-1/2 cups chopped sweet onions
1 cup mayonnaise plus 2 tablespoons
1 cup white cheddar cheese (Vermont), finely shredded
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
5 dashes of Tabasco sauce

Mix altogether in greased quart bowl. Bake at 350 degrees or 45 minutes or until golden brown. Stir before serving.
Serve with Fritos or whatever you desire.
