This is a very easy, quick dessert and oh, so good.
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple in syrup, undrained
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup margarine, cut in thin slices
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch pan. Spoon undrained pineapple into pan; spread evenly. Add pie filling and spread in even layer over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix onto cherry layer spreading evenly. Sprinkle pecans over mix. Place butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 48 to 53 minutes. Serve warm or cooled. Whipped topping or ice cream may top each serving.
