Seafoam Salad

1 package (6 ounces) lime gelatin
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple, crushed (save juice)
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 carton (8 ounces) Cool Whip
1 jar Maraschino cherries

Heat fruit juice plus boiling water to make 1 cup liquid. Combine gelatin and hot juice water mixture. Stir until gelatin is dissolved. Put out cream cheese and be sure it is really softened and add to liquid. Combine pineapple, cherries and nuts. Cool but do not let set and fold in whipped cream. Place in 9x9-inch square pan or may be served in bowl large enough to hold about 4 cups.
