French-Fried Ice Cream

6 large scoops vanilla ice cream
3 cups corn flakes, crushed
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Oil for deep frying
1 carton (9 ounces) whipped topping
1/4 cup honey
6 maraschino cherries

Roll ice cream in a mixture of corn flakes and cinnamon, covering completely. Put back in freezer; freeze until firm. Deep fry in 375 degree oil for 2 to 4 seconds. Layer whipped topping, ice cream balls, honey, whipped topping and cherries in individual serving dishes. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
