1/2 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
12 large marshmallows
2 cups sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Cook margarine, milk, marshmallows, sugar and salt in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil. Boil while stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts. Spread in buttered 8-inch pan. Cut into squares when cool. Serves 25.
