Sauerkraut Soup

Ingredients

1 pound bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1 can (28 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed
1 can (28 ounces) pork & beans
1 can tomato paste
Spices as for spaghetti sauce and garlic if desired

Instructions

Brown bacon until crisp and drain off grease. Mix all the ingredients and simmer 1 hour.
