Mary's Pea Salad

Ingredients

3 strips bacon, fried crisp, drained and crumbled
1/2 cup green onions, chopped, white part with some green
2 cups fresh baby peas, cooked, or frozen, thawed
1 cup macaroni, cooked
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

In bowl, combine bacon, green onions, peas and macaroni, stirring well to blend. Add mayonnaise and stir well. Transfer salad to a serving bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve chilled with cheese sprinkled on top. Makes 6 servings.
