Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
3 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter, crunchy or smooth

Instructions

Mix sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan and boil for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Mix oatmeal, vanilla and peanut butter in a bowl. Pour hot syrup over mixture and stir thoroughly. Drop by tablespoons on waxed paper and let cool.
