Chocolate Covered Cherries

60 maraschino cherries with stems
6 tablespoons margarine, softened
6 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups powdered sugar
Chocolate bark, melted

Drain cherries; place on paper towels. Combine margarine, corn syrup and salt. Stir in powdered sugar; knead mixture until smooth. Shape 1 teaspoon of the mixture around a cherry. Place on wax paper and chill. When cold, dip in melted chocolate bark. Makes 60 chocolate covered cherries.
