Crescent Pie

Ingredients

1-1/4 pounds ground beef
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (8 ounces) crescent rolls
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Brown beef and drain. Add tomato sauce and simmer. Spread rolls in a glass pie pan that has been lightly greased. Pinch seams together. Combine egg and 1 cup cheese and pour over crust. Add meat and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let set 10 minutes. Cut in pie shaped wedges. Serves six.
