-- Quad City Flames --The newest entry to the local sports scene, the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, replaces the Quad City Mallards at The Mark of the Quad Cities. -- Quad City Steamwheelers --In their inaugural season, the Quad City Steamwheelers captured 2000's ArenaCup championship by posting a pro football record-setting 19-0 record. The 'Wheelers followed that up with an 18-1 title season in 2001 and remain arenafootball2's model franchise. The 'Wheelers play 16 games during the regular season, eight of them at home at The Mark of the Quad Cities.
