Isle of Capri Convention Center, 1777 Isle Parkway, Bettendorf. Meeting and banquet facilities can accommodate groups or special events as large as 1,000 people. QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave., Rock Island. A 60,000-square-foot exhibition hall and 4,600-square-foot auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 in a converted factory. It opened in 1987 and is used for major trade shows and exhibitions. (309) 788-5912; www.qccaexpocenter.com

Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave., Rock Island. A 6,444-square-foot tropical conservatory plus outdoor gardens displaying various seasonal flowers, a horticultural library, classrooms, gift shop, art exhibits, free parking and a 200-seat banquet room for meetings and receptions. Houses two exhibition/reception halls, 10 breakout meeting rooms with movable partition walls, spacious public concourses, two attached hotels and two park areas for outdoor events.
