How do I get there from here?

The major airport serving the area is Quad City International Airport, which serves travelers from the Quad-Cities, eastern Iowa and western Illinois with more than 50 daily arriving and departing flights. The airport serves over 800,000 travelers each year.

The airport is located at 2200 69th Ave., at Airport Road and Interstates 280 and 74, Moline.

A state-of-the-art terminal offers all the conveniences of a big-city airport, making travelers more comfortable with improved services, such as a restaurant, deli/bar, two gift shop locations, a business center for frequent fliers, chair massage and more. Customer care representatives are available to provide skycap service and wheelchair/electric golf cart assistance to travelers from the curb, to the departing gate.

For general information (lost and found, paging, opening hours, parking rates), call the administrative offices at (309) 764-9621 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed noon to 1 p.m.), or visit www.qcairport.com. The airport doors open at 3:30 a.m. Airport screenings and the first airline counters are open by 4:00, and the rest of the counters are all open by 5:30. Depending on the security level, check-in times are recommended to a minimum of 90 minutes to two hours prior to flight time. Parking: long term: $6/day, $30/week A week is 7 full days. Short term: $12/day, $60/week. No limit to the time a vehicle can remain in either lot.

Five airlines offer nonstop service to 8 major airports across the United States:

The airport authority offices do not assist with travel arrangements or pricing. Davenport Municipal Airport

Located on 750 acres near U.S. 61 at Mount Joy, just north of Davenport, the Davenport Municipal Airport opened in 1948. It operates with two runways. Its special feature is the yearly Quad-City Air Show. The airport is used by corporate aircraft and is home to the Army National Guard (Helicopter) and Capt. Rail

The nearest Amtrak passenger-train depot is located at 225 S. Seminary St., Galesburg, Ill., about a 45-mile drive from the Quad-Cities.
